Focus Group #1:  Defining Quality in Oral Health

January 22-23, 2008 - Tampa, Florida

As part of ongoing collaborative research related to our 2009 theme, in January 2009 the Institute for Oral Health will host the first of two focus groups to identify critical issues in dental care quality and important trends that influence access, delivery and treatment protocols.

Participants of Focus Group #1 will include a variety of health care industry experts. Discussion will center on issues about:

• 2000 Surgeon General's Report: Oral Health in America
• Institute of Medicine Health Care Quality Initiative: Crossing the Quality Chasm
